One year, we just put a small tree on the table, because we couldn't keep the kids out of it. This year, we just gave them the little tree in their room, with their own ornaments, and they they leave mine alone. It seems to be working so far...
Good luck on finding any truly non breakable ornaments. I try and put those on the bottom, the soft material ones or plastic ones but somehow the eyes always come off the soft snowmen and the hooks dissapear, but its a fun challenge and most of the ornaments on the bottom are missing half their stuff. I guess these are the memories we'll miss when they grow up.

Oh come on, put something on the bottom half they can look at. You need to buy a few unbreakable ornaments. Crooked trees are really more authentic.
That's pretty good. You should see mine. The boys did it ALL BY THEMSELVES while I was gone. Just try to imagine. Ha.
That's great. I have so much to look forward to. I guess I hadn't thought about that aspect of raising kids.
What a pretty tree mine is kind of like the oeanngtower of Piza. I just put the unbreakable ornaments on the bottom.

hopefully sooner than that! Ours is completely decorated this year and so far it is still semi-decorated. I'll keep you posted!
