Irresistible Photo

This is my current favorite picture of both Charlie and Jane so it deserves it's own post.

This picture was taken in Utah on a little ride that sent them up high and then they bounced all of the way down. They were laughing so hard that I laughed a little too.

Rise and Shine

I've shown you how lucky I am to be able to wake up to the glory of Mike's hair every morning but I haven't shown you my other great reason to get out of bed.

She is smiling and jumping every morning when I go in her room.
It's totally worth it.

Le Tour

I am a Tour de France addict, have been for years. Yesterday was a disappointing day to watch and I can't get Lance's interview out of my head. He was interviewed right after the days race and you could see his disappointment and realization that he wouldn't be beating Contador this year. I had high hopes for him. Today I'm a little sad.

Blame it on Satan

Jane: "poo poo, pee pee, poop, pee, poopie, ha ha ha."

Charlie: "MOM, Jane is saying naughty words."

Mom: "I wonder who could have taught her those words? Hmmm."

Pause

Charlie: "Satan."

Home

Jane threw up on me on the flight home. It was gross. But she felt better afterward and then she even managed to fall asleep. COUNT IT, 21-52

Happy Birthday Jane

We celebrated Jane's birthday at Aunt Leslie's house before coming home. Jane managed to get everything "princess". ( One of those things that I swore I'd never do before having a girl that loves being girlie.) Charlie couldn't resist helping.

Moe loves chocolate.

Grandma made a great cake

Charlie is totally willing to be the "handsome prince" when playing with Jane. He'll figure out later that it's not such a good idea.

We love you Jane, Happy Birthday.

Mike is Coming

My husband comes today and I cannot begin to tell you how excited that I am. It has been a fun but hard three weeks and we are all looking forward to having Dad back with us. I pick him up today at 4:00. Wahoo!
