Jane has been begging to ride a horse and around here there aint no western horseback ridin'.
You can put your children in riding lessons but it is serious Equestrian Riding. You know the uppity stuff with the tight pants, tall riding boots & tweed jacket. Then I remembered that our friends the Whiteside's have a horse. So I asked if their horse Petey would mind taking our kids for a little ride. Turns out that Petey was thrilled to take them for a ride.

So she made sure to grab her boots and hat
First they washed him, brushed him and then saddled him up.

Jane was in heaven. She was beaming through the whole ride.

What fun! Charlie and Janie both look like professionals. I thought Bernie made a chew toy out of those boots. Janie looks spiffy, as always. Such a glamorous girl!
