Jane did this.
Which opened this.
She took some and was kind enough to share it with Maggie.
So I called this.
Which of course led to this.
She fell off of the couch but didn't wake.
Jane even transported to the back door without waking.
They woke up at about bedtime.
Fun night.

oh my heck kim--hilarious. gotta love that benedryl. did you get alot done that day with two sleepy girlies??
I guess you can see why it might be tempting to "help" a LONG car ride.
Here is a random bit: I've never had to call Poison Control, but I do remember when my sister ate a Mexican jumping bean and my Mom called, it took them a while to quit laughing and look it up to see just how dangerous it was. FYI - it's just like getting the worm in the tequila without the alcohol. (I told you it was random.) And now you know the rest of the story.
I seem to remember when I lived with you Charlie got into some tylenol and had to go to the hospital... Already drug addicts.. :) hahah
Awesome. I have one of my kids that Benedryl has the exact opposite effect on. Hypes her up to the point of shaking all over. Glad they both didn't have that happen! Hope you enjoyed the "quit time." Might be a good thing to remember when you need another one of those quiet afternoons (okay, don't tell anyone I just said that!) ;)
so if they woke up at bedtime, why didn't you give them some more? :) we came home from a date night a few months ago and the "helpful" sitter gave jack twice the cough syrup he would need. luckily poison control didn't give me the 3rd degree like i anticipated and we learned that on most medications, you can give up to 6x the amount before it's an issue.
oh, and when i was 2, i drank a bottle of triamenic and had to have my stomach pumped at the hospital. at least you didn't have to go through that in double time!
