Football

Not just football - Tackle Football.
We put Charlie in tackle football this year. The real hope was that he could get some of his aggression and energy out on the field instead of in the house. I was warned that putting him in tackle football so young could ruin him and make him scared so that he would never want to play again. Not the case. He enjoys playing and isn't afraid of tackling or being tackled. I have not seen any evidence that he is tired or running low on energy. bummer Mike is one of the Assistant Coaches for the team and he is really enjoying that role. So far we are undefeated and playing quite well.

Charlie is the smallest guy on the left.

Mike and Charlie

Jane, Carys and Mags in their cute matching outfits that my niece made.

We go to the games every Saturday morning and cheer on the boys.

Charlie is one lucky boy. If I showed Jonah this pic he'd be wanting to move in with you so he could play too. They don't start till third grade here. And I love the Colts uniforms! ;)

I don't get it. Last post you sent Charlie to kindergarten to get smart. This post you send him to football to get the smarts knocked out of him! What's a kid to do?!?

Wish I had played football when I was that little. Maybe I wouldn't have been such a woosie.

Charlie looks like Mr. Tough Guy in his football gear. So cute! The girls are darling in their outfits. Do they wear the same clothes every week to cheer? So fun. Please get a video of Charlie playing football AND the girls cheering.
