What Anniversary?

That's right, yet again I have forgotten my anniversary. Lucky for me, Mike forgot too. I had the upper hand this year because I called him the day after and wished him a "happy anniversary". (He is in Virginia and forgot also.) So that means I have remembered four out of nine. I know, terrible odds. This seems to be the running joke between us and I am lucky to have a husband who isn't offended every year. Maybe he should feel lucky to have a wife that never expects a gift. Thanks honey buns, I love you.

gee, it's not like you have anything going on in your life to use an an excuse. maybe if you had a new baby, three kids three and under or were trying to move across the country, then, perhaps you could have an excuse.

That's hilarious. I loved reading it! PS, do you need any help at all? We have been gone for a week but I am totally willing to help!

Hi Kimber!!!! I'm so excited that I found you. This is Natalie BTW. I was thinking about you and I typed your name on google and I found your blog! I totally blog stalked you. Your kids are soooo dang cute! It was fun to see your family. I hope we can keep in touch, better than the last 6 or so years. I miss your face!

Okay...so no, I am not a blog stalker. I was just viewing the Sedgewicks blog and saw your name on here. I had to check it out. Your family is too cute. Good luck with the memory. I am pretty sure that mine is almost gone and I only have 2 kids :) I am for sure checking back here to get updates on the move and stuff. Good luck!

So, after four 1/2 years away from family we decided to move a bit closer. My kids didn't know their cousins and grandparents very well, and it hurt my heart. We were looking in Utah mostly for a new job and one popped up in Blackfoot. It just happened to be exactly what Paul was looking for, so last year we moved. Pretty dang exciting, huh? It's been fun, but we miss Washington a lot! We had amazing friends there and we loved the area, not to mention we got to travel any time we wanted at the DOD's expense. We lived in San Diego for 6 months, 2 years ago for free!!! It was so much fun. I wish I would have been a blogger then because we had a blast. But Blackfoot is fun too, I mean you can go cow tippin, throw stuff off of bridges...um, tons of stuff!! What is taking you guys to VA? I assume it's a job, but what does Mike do?

Ok so I'm wondering how you guys forget your anniversary? Ok let me re-phrase that. I know how Mike could forget your anniversay, but how do you both forget?

Maybe you should get an alarm clock that announce the date and time each morning. Then when you hear the date, you will be reminded what day it is. I think Mike owes you dinner at the most expensive restaurant in VA. Don't let him get away with taking you to Five Guys.
